Simple Too Faced Chocolate Smokey Cut Crease Tutorial

Wow, it's been so long since I've visited Blogspot to update my blog..

It's been very manic over the last few months including visits to the A&E, and having what I can only describe as mummy melt downs, but things seem to be calming down and hopefully will stay this while for a while *fingers crossed*

So my birthday was a few weeks back, and typical Husband question was "What do I get you?, What do you want??" So being the ever-so-helpful wife that I am, I compiled a "wish list" and sent it to him *hehehe* The list turned out to be very long, I said I'd update it regularly and he can just pick and choose when the occasion comes so he'll never have to ask me again :)

One of the few things listed, which has been on my wish list for a loooong time now; is the Too Faced Chocolate Eye Shadow Palettes. RRP'ing for around £40; it was one of those things that I could only consider "luxury" and would rather spend that kind of money on the baby, so when the husband presented me with the Original Too Faced Chocolate Palette- I was so excited! AND AND AND to top it all of he also bought me the Teddy Bear Hair Brush Set with makeup bag. jnsdfksjbkjdbvksd He has permanently been in my good books since my birthday (just realised how materialistic this makes me sound haha)

So I've had the palette for over a week now and I've been able to do a little research and play about with the shades (when the baby allows it). The most simple look, which i've been wearing daily is a smokey cut crease, using only 4 of the shades - it's a real time saver and can be easily worn.

The four shades used are:

1) White Chocolate
2) Milk Chocolate
3) Triple Fudge
4) Gilded Ganache

LID-
Apply "White Chocolate" all over the lid with a eye shadow brush

ABOVE THE CREASE & BROW BONE-
Apply "Milk Chocolate" just above the crease of the lid to the brow bone and use a blender brush to blend the two shades together and to blend into the brow bone area, I apply white chocolate as a highlighter just under my brow.

CUT CREASE-
I use Triple Fudge with a fine eyeliner brush to create the "harsh" cut crease line in the crease on the lid, and blend upwards towards the brow bone so there is a smooth gradient effect with the triple fudge to milk chocolate shade. I also wing out from the cut crease to create the "outer V"

LOWER LASH LINE-
Use a fine eyeliner brush and run a neat thin line of Gilded Ganache along the lower lash. I tend to thicken out the line slightly towards the end and blend with the triple fudge into the "outer V"

Right, like with every post; i've actually had this on draft for a while as things have gotten really manic again.

As a general, I will be changing the blog to more of a personal blog rather than just beauty related posts so i'll probably be changing blog title, ect.

As things are at the moment, i'm just on the recovery from what i can only describe as a horrendouse eczema flare-up. This time being the worst its ever been. Next post will feature more on that and i'm due to see the dermatologist again on Tuesday so fingers crossed things will get better soon!

Much Loves
